Camden Beach is opening this weekend!
A rooftop terrace of The Roundhouse in Camden has been turned into the ultimate urban sandy beach. Covering a 900 square metre area, the free beach incorporates a Tiki Hut, Rum Shack, hot dog stand and Pork BBQ Bar. There are also deckchairs and beach huts to hire, and a beach-shack cocktail bar! Take a walk along the Camden Beach pier, complete with penny arcade games, ping pong and air hockey, and even storage containers that have been painted beach-hut rainbow shades. It’s just like being in Byron Bay. Well… Sort of!
Camden Beach is open at Roundhouse everyday 26 July-23 August, check the website for individual opening times. And it’s free, so no ticket required.
