Last Thursday 14 August, we successfully ran our first Job Search and LinkedIn Workshop at St Barts Brewery. Our host was Lorne Lee, who has over 20 years of Global Recruitment experience. Lorne discussed how to get the very best results when looking for work in the UK and provided expert insight into the best ways of using LinkedIn. It was ensured attendees understood how to effectively use this critical professional social media tool to their best advantage.
In true myOE form, we used this session as a good excuse to have a good catch up with our candidates over some food and a glass of wine, to both see how everything was running from a client perspective and to find out if there was anything we could further assist with this Summer.
Feedback was great and based on that, we plan to look at other similar workshops to run throughout the year so watch this space!
