Retro Bus Party tour of the City
We decided to do something a little bit different for what turned out to be one of our most fun networking parties yet. We set off from Waterloo on our very own retro Routemaster red London bus, which is one of the iconic double decker buses built back in 1954, for a MyOE tour of London as the sun went down over the city.
We were invited to bring our own refreshments, which we did in abundance to ensure everyone was very well fed and watered as we took in the sights of the city and caught up with our lovely MyOE community. We definitely felt very much full to capacity with a great turn out, and no-one appeared to be in the same seat very long as people were constantly on the move catching up with MyOE friends old and new. There was a London quiz (taken rather seriously by a few of our competitive lot), a photo competition (it’s not too late to get your entries in if you haven’t yet – a bottle of Champagne for the best shot!) good music playing and a LOT of laughter!
When the tour was over we headed back to Waterloo, but so many of us didn’t feel ready to call it a night, so we continued the catch up under the lights of Jubilee park to finish off what was such a lovely night. Thank you to all of you that joined us and made the night as fun as it was, roll on the Christmas Party that is already in the planning stages (watch this space).
