2009 Travel Prize Winner

CONGRATULATIONS ELISA VERWEY

Waikato University student, Elisa Verwey, has been declared the winner of the inaugural myOE University UK Travel Diary Competition. Elisa was presented with the $5500 (NZD) cash prize from myOE for her quirky creative efforts which involved a lego character which she took around the UK with her. She also shone on her return home after appointing herself the myOE ambassador and advocating myOE around the Waikato University.

Thanks to all 20 students for their efforts on their travel diaries, there were some outstanding efforts and many entertaining and colorful stories. Also a big thank you to everyone who played a part in our inaugural myOE University Scholarship Program. The bar has been set, and we look forward to more adventures next year!
